XL Bully Updates
Finally, we have information regarding XL Bully dogs at Running Paws Maghull,
We’ve had quite a lot of enquiries regarding this, thank you for your patience as it’s taken quite a lot of back and forth with our insurers to get some more information as to where we stand and what we need to do to enable to allow XLs to continue to visit our fields.
We can now confirm that XL Bully dogs can continue to visit Running Paws Maghull and enjoy off-lead play just like dogs are meant to do!
But with this unfortunately we do have to add some new rules to be able to allow visit XL visits.
They are as follows:
-
The dog(s) must be registered with the IED (index of exempted dogs);
-
You have public liability insurance for your dog(s). This is additional insurance to pet insurance – a copy of your insurance MUST be sent to us at Info@runningpawsmaghull.com at the time of booking. If we don’t have an up to date record of your documents we will not be able to allow you to visit.
-
The dog handler ratio is 1:1 at all times. XL Dog handler MUST be over 18 and be able to control your dog.If the household has more than 1 dog, they can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs. If there is more than 1 banned breed in the household they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.
-
The dog(s) must be micro-chipped, neutered and remain muzzled when going from car to and from the field.
-
Dogs ARE allowed to be unmuzzled once in the field and the gate is secured but MUST have a muzzle on when going to and from the field.
-
Same households only. We cannot allow any meets, parties, gatherings, training groups and anyone from a different house hold to visit the field together. Bookings Must be for single households only.
-
-
Maximum 3 dogs on the DDA from the same family providing the handler ratio remains 1:1.
-
Usual field rules apply
We will be continuing to monitor the guidelines for field hire so please keep an eye on this page for any updates
If you have any questions please get in touch.
